Daylights savings costing me time

Daylight savings has thrown my household upside down. The girls just cannot seem to adjust, and neither can I.

Saturday night they went to sleep very late. Grandpa was in town for a visit and daddy hosted a men's prayer and social that evening, so girls had quite a night. It was after 10pm when we finally got them settled down and to sleep. Add the 1 hour we sprung forward, and that was a very very late night for the little kiddos.

Sunday it was finally gorgeous out, so we, and extended family, headed to the park for a few hours. Girls played very hard. We had to tear them away from the playground. On the way home they both fell asleep, AND WOULD NOT WAKE UP! We tried everything, but they would slink right back down into cozy little balls and go right back to sleep.

We finally got them both to a semi-groggy awake state at 9pm to get them bathed, 'cause boy did they need it. And you guessed it, that woke them both up, and their appetites. We didn't get them back into bed until between 10-11pm. Very, very bad.

All week I've had to drag the poor little kids out of bed each morning. I think tonite may be the night when their internal clocks are finally back on track. Wish me luck!
